BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 46-year-old man from Buffalo has been charged in connection with a homicide that occurred in the early hours Monday morning on Rhode Island Street.
Officers were called to a home on o Rhode Island Street in Buffalo at around 3:45 a.m. on Monday for a report of a fight.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with severe cuts and stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the suspect, Antonio Prieto has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree.
Detective says they found a suspect, Antonio Prieto, 46, at the scene. They say he had self-inflicted wounds from the fight. He was taken to ECMC where he is in critical condition while in police custody.
