Buffalo man arrested for reckless endangerment following a shots fired call

Man out of custody for a seperate charge gets arrested in Buffalo.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department arrested a man on Tuesday for a shots fired call from September 30. 

Northeast district officers responded to a call about shots fired on the 600 block of LaSalle Avenue last month.

The officers found shell casings after arriving to the scene. The detectives immediately began an investigation towards finding the suspect.

According to investigators, officers stopped a vehicle matching the description of the shots fired incident.

During the stop, officers say they found a  loaded pistol  that they recovered.  They say it is the same weapon that fired shots on LaSalle Avenue that day.

Tremel Stone, 38, of Buffalo is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class C felony and Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, a class D felony.

Stone was out on bail  for a separate gun arrest at the time that the shots were fired.
