BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 13-year-old boy was shot overnight in the City of Buffalo.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Sunday, when Central District officers responded to a shots-fired call, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department.
The boy who had been shot arrived at Buffalo General hospital in a civilian vehicle and told police that it happened near Main Street and High Street. He was later transferred to Oishei Children's Hospital and underwent surgery.
Police on Sunday afternoon did not list the boy's condition in a statement about the shooting.
