BUFFALO, N.Y. — An arrest was made in connection to a homicide that happened earlier this month in the City of Buffalo.
Thierry Bikorimana, 19, of Buffalo faces one felony count of second-degree murder in connection to a shooting that happened on Dec. 10 on the 300 block of Grider Street. The victim was 44-year-old Demarkus Hodge of Buffalo, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department.
Police said officers with the Northeast district responded to a dead body call around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
Once the victim's death was confirmed, "Homicide detectives immediately began an investigation and a suspect was identified," police said in announcing the arrest, which happened on Tuesday.
If convicted, Bikorimana faces up to 25 years in prison.
