AMHERST, N.Y. — An local man is facing charges after stabbing his co-worker Tuesday night at an Amherst restaurant and bar.
Vaughn Williams, 53, of Amherst stabbed a 32-year-old man in the upper arm with a kitchen knife, according to Amherst Police. 2 On Your Side confirmed the incident happened at Elmo's Restaurant and Bar.
The victim received medical treatment before police arrived at the scene and is listed in stable condition, police said.
Williams was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
A search of the New York State electric court filing system did not show a future court date for Williams.
