AMHERST, N.Y. — The Amherst Police Department responded to a fight with a knife at the Red Roof Inn on Flint Road around 5:35 p.m. on Tuesday. The Amherst Police said one person was stabbed and two others received defensive wounds from the knife attack.
A young female was the main victim of the stabbing. She was transported to Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo with non-life threatening injuries, Amherst Police said in a statement.
The second victim was a 32-year-old female. She was treated for her injuries at the scene and released.
The third victim, a 27-year-old male, did not want any medical treatment.
After their investigation, police arrested 23-year-old Anghely N. Llamozas-Perez, who was staying at the hotel. Llamozas-Perez is charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
