BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police say they arrested nine people following three separate stolen vehicles overnight.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office provided help with support from the Air 1 helicopter, tracking vehicles late Tuesday night and into the early hours on Wednesday.
The first vehicle tracked was recovered at 124 Maple Ridge in the City of Buffalo, just east of Erie County Medical Center. Two of the three suspects were also wanted in connection to that stolen vehicle were arrested.
The Sheriff's Office says Air 1 then followed a vehicle reported as stolen out of the City of Tonawanda. Three people were arrested near Oakmont and Suffolk streets, near the 33 and Bailey Avenue.
The third vehicle was recovered on Military Road, where Buffalo Police arrested four people.
