BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police launched an investigation after two young males were stabbed Wednesday in downtown Buffalo.
The stabbing happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday near Main and Mohawk streets. Central District officers who arrived at the scene found two males who, according to a spokesperson for Buffalo Police, "were stabbed in connection with a fight involving other people."
One person is being questioned by police about what happened.
The two juveniles were taken to by ambulance to Oishei Children's Hospital, where they are being evaluated. One of the boys is listed in critical condition, and the other is being treated for injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
A knife was recovered at the scene, police said.
