BUFFALO, N.Y. - It's the touchdown pass from Andy Dalton that keeps giving to Western New York: first playoffs and now a donation.
Bills fans may recall, Dalton and the Bengals helped send the Bills to their first NFL playoff appearance since 1999, after Andy Dalton's improbable go-ahead touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter knocked the Baltimore Ravens out of the playoffs on New Year's Eve last year.
And to thank him, Bills fans flooded the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation with over $200,000 in donations.
Now, Andy and Jordan Dalton are coming to Buffalo on August 26 when the Bengals are in town to face the Bills in a preseason matchup. But Dalton just won't be playing downs at New Era Field, they will be making a donation.
Dalton and his wife made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday afternoon saying they will be making a donation to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
"Look for us on gameday, we are so thankful for everything that y'all have done for us, for our community, the families in our community through our foundation, that we wanna give back to y'all," said Jordan Dalton.
