BUFFALO, N.Y. — Thomas Hall remembers sitting around with his family and singing. He started at the tender age of 11 and in his words "I would just sing and make up things."
He has performed with different groups including The Five Senses. " I was touched, so that was actually an inspiration to me because I wanted to touch everybody whenever I sing."
Later he joined Sabata and the Exoutics.
He knows the music of yesterday has changed to a degree.
"I'm not knocking anyone's music, but today they're talking about the same thing, but the words that they're using to talk about those things are completely different," Hall said. "The morality of the world has changed a bit, you know, so certain things that wasn't liked that before. I just remember when rap first came out, oh my goodness, but compare then and now it's another thing."
Hall said he wants to remain true to himself when he sings as he creates music. "I'm not selling out. I'm just going to be me. So when I look in the mirror, I feel good about the fact that I stayed true to myself and those that are close to me, around me. they gravitate to that," he said that is the best compliment."
