CHEEKTOWAGA, NY-- - A Cheektowaga couple is facing charges after their child suffered serious injuries earlier this year.
Cheektowaga Police have charged Ashley Capitano, 22, and Paul Cole, 25, with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The six-week-old baby boy suffered a fractured skull, broken ribs, a broken pelvic bone and a contusion on his liver back in March in Strasbourg Drive home.
He was placed in a family member's home. Police say he may never completely recover from some of his injuries.
Cheektowaga Assistant Chief James Speyer sasy neither parent was cooperative in the investigation and the charges were filed after consulting the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Judge Paul Piotrowski set bail for Capitano and Cole at $30,000 cash each, or $100,000 bond.
