BOSTON- 2 On Your Side's Claudine Ewing was honored Saturday night with a 2014 Salute to Excellence Award by the National Association of Black Journalists for her story on Penn State Football Player John Urschel .
Ewing, along with photojournalist Andy DeSantis, won in the television sports category for markets 16 and under.
This is the first NABJ Salute to Excellence Award for both Ewing and DeSantis.
