Sports Better in Florida wins nearly $6 million off of four-leg NFL parlay

The announcement comes just a couple of weeks after sports betting recently resumed in the sunshine state at the beginning of November.

FLORIDA, USA — One lucky person in Florida has recently turned $500,000 into nearly $6,000,000 after winning a four-leg NFL parlay on Sunday.

Thanks to Houston Texans kicker Matt Ammendola, the bet was completed as the better had chosen four different legs under the same game parlay category for the Texans and Cincinnati Bengals game.

The bets included a Texans win over the Bengals, the Texans-Bengals game score going over 44.5 points, Texans running back (and former Buffalo Bill) Devin Singletary scoring a touchdown, and Singletary going over 51.5 rushing yards.

All of these hit, as the underdog Texans took down Cincinnati on a last-second field goal to end the game. Singletary had rushed for a total of 150 yards, earning one touchdown. Texans Quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 3 of 4 passes to get Houston into field goal position on the final drive.

According to ESPN and Hard Rock Bet, (Hard Rock's online sportsbook) the payout is one of the largest ones ever reported by a U.S. sportsbook.
