BUFFALO, N.Y. — Businesses in New York state are slated to receive more than $17 billion in loans during the second round of the Paycheck Protection Program, according to recently released U.S. Small Business Administration data.

Those numbers are set to rise: about $175 billion of the $310 billion program had been allocated as of Monday morning.

Like most statewide numbers in New York, the data is most likely skewed toward downstate population centers. But Western New York has also seen robust PPP activity since the second round opened a week ago.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
