BUFFALO, N.Y. — AAA brings you data on lowered gas prices again this week, as drivers are on the road less during this season.

The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.42 today, which is seven cents down from last Monday.

In two weeks, the national price for a gallon of gas has dropped 13 cents and drivers are gaining more benefits when fueling up at the pumps.

Right now, Buffalo is down two cents since last Monday and at the price of $3.74 a gallon. The New York State average is $3.70, four cents lower from last week.

The Environmental Information Administration states that with lower gas demand comes declining oil prices. The total domestic gasoline stocks remain flat as gas demand decreases.

  • Batavia - $3.71 (down 4 cents from last Monday)
  • Buffalo - $3.74 (down 2 cents from last Monday)
  • Elmira - $3.49 (down 9 cents from last Monday)
