CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The Erie County Water Authority will consolidate its downtown Buffalo headquarters and Cheektowaga operations center into one central location.

The authority paid $3.3 million for a 58-acre vacant parcel in West Seneca’s North America Center, according to documents filed Sept. 30 in the Erie County Clerk’s office. The land had been owned by North America Center LLC, an affiliate of Nanco Development LLC. The deal works out to $56,987 per acre.

The parcel was the last undeveloped tract of land in the 400-acre, 30-year-old North America Center, located adjacent to the I-400 Expressway in West Seneca.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website
