BUFFALO, N.Y. — Home values are rising across the country, and the City of Buffalo is no exception. The value of homes jumped by double-digits in many local neighborhoods from September 2020 to September 2021, though the typical home value from neighborhood to neighborhood still varies significantly.
The Business Journals recently analyzed Zillow Group (Nasdaq: ZG) data for more than 30,000 ZIP codes to find the 25 most expensive ZIPs in the U.S. Buffalo didn’t make the list, though New York ZIPs dominated. Business First decided to take a hyper-local look at the situation here.
Analyzing Zillow data, Business First narrowed down the top 10 most expensive ZIPs based on typical home values in the City of Buffalo. The values are seasonally adjusted and include only the middle price tier of homes. You can get the full list on Buffalo Business First's website.
