BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tesla has increased jobs 16% at its South Buffalo plant since the end of 2021, according to the company's annual filing with Empire State Development
FTE positions at the Riverbend plant grew from 1,686 at the end of 2021, to 1,787 at the end of last year, according to the report that was released this month.
Jeff Munson, treasurer for Tesla’s affiliate Silevo LLC, which operates the Buffalo plant, said in the report that the company onboarded another 130 employees at the end of January. Total employment now stands at 1,948, according to the report.
