SANBORN, N.Y. — Just shy of its two-year anniversary, Tecla Rustic Bistro & Bar has decided to close its doors in Sanborn – though chef/owner Joe Belardi hinted it will be back at a different location.
The restaurant opened in June 2021 at 5894 Ward Road, specializing in authentic Italian food inspired by Belardi’s grandmother, for whom the restaurant was named.
In a Facebook post, Belardi said he decided not to renew the lease but will be opening something “very soon” in an unnamed new location once details are finalized.
