TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A Town of Tonawanda motel that had been operated by a veteran hospitality executive has been acquired by a Vermont-based hotelier.
EMN LLC of Ludlow, Vermont, paid $1.87 million for the 59-room Super 8 by Wyndham motel at 1272 Sheridan Drive, according to documents filed Nov. 10 in the Erie County Clerk’s office.
The hotel, which opened in 1996, had been owned by RJ & Associates LLC. That group was led by Rudi Ranier, who twice served as general manager for the Adam’s Mark Hotel – now the Buffalo Grand Hotel.
