State-funded $73M project will renovate affordable housing community in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ellicott Town Center, a 281-unit affordable housing community in Buffalo, is about to undergo a $73 million renovation.

Owner First Shiloh Housing Corp., the nonprofit housing arm of First Shiloh Baptist Church, and developer Beacon Communities have finalized a deal with the state that will allow the work to move forward.

The project will be publicly funded, primarily through New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
