BUFFALO, N.Y. — Spectrum, a wireless service provider, is expanding its facilities and employee count in the Buffalo area.
The Spectrum brand, operated by Charter Communications, recently announced the opening of a customer service call center at 3920 Main St., Amherst. The site will add 400 local customer service jobs, according to a press release.
The 88,000-square-foot call center will be used to provide service to Spectrum Mobile customers, from technical support to data transfer to a new device. The center will be the company’s fifth of its kind, along with activation and mobile repair sites in Austin, Texas; Garfield Heights, Ohio; Kansas City, Missouri; and St. Petersburg, Florida.
