GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. — Some hotel rooms will remain in the former Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island after all — for now.
Representatives from Haven 100 Project LLC, the new owners of the property at 100 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island, have shifted their plans and will retain 87 of the hotel’s 268 rooms as short-term rental, hotel rooms.
Plans for the $25 million project had included converting all of the hotel rooms into 135 market-rate apartments. Haven 100 Project, which includes partners Michael Conroe, Elev8 Architecture founder, and J.B. Earl Co. of Provo, Utah, paid $6.15 million for the hotel.
