BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Elmwood Avenue clothing store announced Friday that it has closed its doors for good.
Buffalo Fleece and Outerwear, through social media posts on Facebook and Instagram, broke the news Friday afternoon.
"The doors have officially closed at Buffalo Fleece and Outerwear," the store said. "It's sad and my heart is still full.
"I have so many memories including all of the holiday seasons, festivals, relationships built over the years with employees and customers, visitors from out of town, and all of you who chose to shop local. This experience has been such a gift to me and my family. Thank you to all who were a part of this very special business."
The store had recently told 2 On Your Side it had been dealing with neighborhood crime for some time.
