Salvation Army adds East Side development, project now tops $100 million

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Salvation Army’s development plan for the Buffalo Main Street campus added an East Side phase.

Annette Lock, Salvation Army director of Erie County operations and Buffalo area services, said the agency will rebuild its East Side center at 21 Westminster Ave. that has been a Salvation Army operation since 1932.

The multi-phase $86 million Main Street project that now includes a new East Side building is now up to $100 million, she said.
