Rich's Products reorganization leads to first 10 job cuts in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two months after announcing it will move jobs from four global divisions to India, Rich Products Corp. has identified the first local jobs that will shift.

Earlier this week, the privately held company announced an IT reorganization that will displace 10 associates from its Buffalo IT team, beginning in September.

In addition to IT, the larger reorganization to India is also expected to impact the finance, HR and supply chain divisions across the Rich’s 50 locations. The $5.4 billion global food products company — the largest private employer in the region — employs 13,000 globally, with a Western New York workforce of 1,000.
