BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you're traveling throughout the United States, you might see souvenirs from a Buffalo company.
Delaware North and Oxford Pennant are teaming up to expand to more national parks and airports.
Delaware North, a global hospitality and entertainment company headquartered in Buffalo, and Oxford Pennant, a Buffalo company that designs and sells pennants and banners, have been working together for the past year.
Oxford Pennant products are already found at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Delaware North retail locations at Niagara Falls State Park, Shenandoah National Park, and Yellowstone National Park, which are all operated by Delaware North.
You will now find them at these locations: Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Grand Canyon National Park, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and Delaware North lodging and retail operations outside of Yosemite National Park, Olympic National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
“We knew Oxford Pennant made beautiful, quality products that would tell the story of the special places where they are being sold,” said Donna Genesky, vice president of retail for Delaware North’s Parks and Resorts division. “Guests are taking these pennants and banners home to enjoy for years to come as keepsakes of their travels.”
In their first year working together, more than 4,000 pennants and banners were sold. They're hoping to build on that success and sell more than double.
