Northland graduates are hot commodities and classes are filling up

Twenty-four students who enrolled in certificate programs graduated Aug. 16, and most of them had multiple job offers averaging $17.50 an hour

The second year of classes is in full swing at the Northland Workforce Training Center on Buffalo's East Side.

The state-backed facility hosts certificate's and associate's degree programs through SUNY Erie and SUNY Alfred State. It represents the Buffalo Billion's answer to the region's pressing workforce issues in manufacturing and skilled trades.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website
