New York Beer Project prepares to open new Southtowns location

The new location will be at a lodge that covers 24,500 square feet, and it will include 4 new event spaces.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — New York Beer Project is hiring for its new Orchard Park location, which opens on June 14.

The brewery has hosted "casting calls" for people who want to be part of the new staff next month. The new location will be at a lodge that covers 24,500 square feet, and it will include four new event spaces.

There will be a VIP Party the night of Wednesday, June 12 for people who belong to the Mug Club in Orchard Park or at one of their three current locations: Lockport, Victor, and Orlando, Fla.

The Orchard Park venue will open its doors to everyone two days later, at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 14.

Back in March, New York Beer Project won five awards at the New York State Craft Beer Competition, led by a gold medal with Island Addition in the Experimental IPA category over 35 other brews.

New York Beer Project also won silver medals in the categories of Belgian Other (Man's Best Friend) and Specialty Beer: Stouts & Porters (Irish Coffee Stout), plus bronze medals in Hazy IPA (The One V-56), a bronze in Barrel Aged Sour (Brewers Reserve BA Sour Blend).
