BUFFALO, N.Y. — National Grid says a planned power outage to update their systems for some Buffalo customers has been postponed.

National Grid issued this statement in regards to the postponement:

Due to an electricity system upgrade to ensure reliability, National Grid had notified around 730 customers in the City of Buffalo that they were to be impacted by a planned power outage scheduled for overnight on Feb. 16 into the morning of Feb. 17. However, due to colder temperatures in the forecast the work is being rescheduled. Customers were notified by phone earlier this week that the event is to take place at a later date. Once a new date has been established, we will contact them again with details.
