BUFFALO, N.Y. — A national cannabis business is planning to open its first dispensary in Western New York.
Star Buds — which currently has locations in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, and Oklahoma — recently placed signs at 396 Kenmore Ave., west of Englewood Avenue, announcing the new dispensary.
There's a sign in the parking lot, highly visible to drivers and pedestrians alike who pass by, and there's another sign posted to the building. Posted inside the door is a building permit and inspection notice from the City of Buffalo.
Star Buds boasts "a top-notch selection of strains, including our signature Cannabis Cup-winning sativa," on its website. The company also has a "Higher Rewards Loyalty Program," where customers accumulate points on purchases that go toward discounts and specials.
