BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you are a customer of M&T Bank, you may have had trouble accessing your accounts over the past couple of days.
The bank says it worked to resolve a technical issue that affected some customers from accessing accounts on its digital and online platforms.
The issues have since been resolved, according to bank officials.
A spokesperson for the bank issued this statement:
“Over the weekend, our customers experienced issues accessing M&T Online and Mobile Banking. Our teams identified the root cause and are working to resolve outstanding issues as quickly as possible. Both M&T Online and Mobile Banking have been restored. Please be assured that this was an internal technical issue and customer accounts remain secure. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ patience.”
