Judge's restraining order keeps Hyatt Regency flag in place

The restraining order was sought by Snyder Corp., which has owned and operated the 396-room hotel since it opened in 1984.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Hyatt Regency Buffalo hotel can remain branded under the Hyatt flag for now.

A temporary restraining order, issued May 29 by New York State Supreme Court Justice Emilio Colaiacovo, prevented Hyatt Corp. from pulling the brand from the downtown Buffalo hotel.
