Jemal buys parking lot from City of Buffalo with plans for apartments and garage

Jemal plans to build a nine-story building with the first five floors housing a 300-spot parking garage for tenants of the building's upper floors and Seneca One.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Developer Douglas Jemal has closed on the $1.5 million purchase of a parking lot next to Seneca One, with plans to develop both apartments and a parking garage on the site.

Jemal's Loop LLC last week closed on separate purchases for two parcels located at 61 Terrace — $1.07 million for 0.63 acres from the Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency and $407,000 for a quarter-acre of the site from the City of Buffalo

61 Terrace is a parking lot surrounded by the looping ramp that connects the Buffalo Skyway to 190 North.
