BUFFALO, N.Y. — The team behind the Irish Companies is embarking on a new venture — Straight Up Beverages — which will produce local soda products for the restaurant industry around Buffalo.
With five employees so far, the company makes soda products — cola, diet cola, orange soda, lemon lime soda, root beer and loganberry — under its own brand.
“It’s a cool thing for the city, because we have our own production facility, so it’s fresh product,” CEO Matthew Irish Jones said.
