BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation is ready to move forward with plans to develop the North Aud Block at Canalside.
The group held a public meeting Wednesday night to share the proposed plans for it.
The concept includes a little bit of everything, with a mix of apartments, restaurants and shops, as well as added parking.
"This was a very historic part of Buffalo and how it linked back to the city, and we hopefully are going to try to re-enforce those connections by having a really active hub," Herb Guenther of T.Y. Lin International said.
The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation plans to take the majority of the year to look through the proposal and environmental analysis before moving forward with any development.
