BUFFALO, N.Y. — FeedMore WNY has founded a new nonprofit affiliate to manage its commissary operation to support its Meals on Wheels programs across three counties.
Hearty Helpings Inc. took over operations for the program on April 1 following the conclusion of a contract March 31 with Trio Community Meals LLC, a division of national hospitality firm Elior North America.
The contract with Trio began in 2013 under Bateman Senior Meals, a division of Compass Group North America that was acquired by Elior. Before that, Sodexo filled the role for 40 years.
