DUNKIRK, N.Y. — The exterior building of Athenex Inc.’s $210 million factory in Dunkirk is nearly complete, with a permanent sign now facing Route 5 motorists.
The company still expects to start making its proprietary cancer therapies in the building in the second half of 2021.
The factory was supported by a $200 million grant from New York state, making it one of the state’s biggest-ever investments in Western New York. After all phases are completed, its overall size is expected to be around 320,000 square feet. For more on this story, please visit the Buffalo Business First website.
