WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Ellicott Development is seeking the Town of Amherst's approval to build a four-story mixed-use building at 5226 and 5528 Main Street, Williamsville.

The first floor will have about 10,000 square feet of commercial space. The upper floors will house a combined 30 market-rate apartment units.

Ellicott Development has been working with the town on plans for the site for several years, according to Thomas Fox, director of development for Ellicott. Earlier versions of the plans called for a five-story building with a larger footprint.
