Duke's Bohemian Crocodile Bar for sale on Chippewa

Alfieri is also selling the building and business at 25 N. Johnson Park where his son opened Oscar’s Hollywood Arts Café last fall at the former 31 Club.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Another restaurant business tied to the late JJ Alfieri is available for sale.

Duke’s Bohemian Crocodile Bar was under development for 88 W. Chippewa St., a building owned by his father, James Alfieri, that most recently housed Local Kitchen & Beer Bar.

JJ, who died unexpectedly in November, closed his Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar at 256 Allen St. last August with a plan to resurrect the business on Chippewa in space he previously operated as Crocodile Bar in the '90s.
