BUFFALO, N.Y. — Douglas Jemal is almost ready to begin construction of an apartment complex at 61 Terrace St. in downtown Buffalo.
The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency and the City of Buffalo have agreed to sell the developer the donut-shaped surface parking lot for $1.478 million. The property between his Seneca One Tower and the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is slightly less than one acre and was assessed at $1 million, according to Buffalo’s Assessment & Taxation Department records.
With the sale price approved as of Jan. 25, construction can begin this spring. The building should be tenant-ready by late 2023.
