Dog competition and training facility proposed for Lancaster

LANCASTER, N.Y. — A dog-loving Cheektowaga couple who frequently travels with their Basset Hound to American Kennel Club shows wants to develop a facility to host those competitions in the Buffalo area.

Michelle and Donald Gordon are working with Lancaster officials on gaining approvals to create the Premier Dog Sports & Events Center on a vacant, five-acre parcel near the intersection of Walden Avenue and Pavement Road.
