TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Coca-Cola Beverage Northeast Inc. is in the midst of a $22.61 million expansion of local operations. The Town of Tonawanda project is on pace to be completed by mid-2023.
“That a company like Coke Beverage is making this level of investment is a show of confidence,” said Joseph Emminger, Town of Tonawanda supervisor. “They are a legacy company here in town.”
Coca-Cola has had an office and distribution center in Erie County since 1951, with the Town of Tonawanda as regional hub which employs 124. Some 34% of all sales and distribution from the Tonawanda site head for destinations outside Erie County.
