BUFFALO, N.Y. — The development team led by Douglas Jemal has been selected to turn the aging Mohawk Ramp into a sleek, mixed-use project that incorporates residential units, parking, commercial and retail space.
Jemal was selected from a shortlist of three bidders that was honed down from six entities that submitted proposals to redevelop the 63-year-old, 629-space Washington Street ramp.
Jemal is expected to invest $100 million in the project, sources said.
