BUFFALO, N.Y. — One of Buffalo’s longest operating independent coffee shops is changing hands this spring.
Caffe Aroma’s former general manager Michaela Schmidbauer is buying the business operation at 957 Elmwood Ave., with plans to bring back more night-time events, including poetry readings and singer-songwriter performances.
She takes over for Romola Massaro, who founded the business in 1993 at 5229 Main St. in Williamsville. The Elmwood Avenue site followed in 1995. Read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website.
