BUFFALO, N.Y. — Another four Yemeni coffee shops are in development across the region, including sites in Buffalo and Williamsville.

Two of the new sites come from Amin Almontaser, who entered the industry with his father, Yehya, in mid-2022 with Socotra Arabic Coffee House at 671 Ridge Road in Lackawanna.

Both shops will offer the same menu as the original: beehive pastries, smoothies and fresh-squeezed juice drinks, as well as coffee made from imported Arabic coffee beans and chai. Also on the menu: a Harazi coffee that blends Arabic coffee beans with raspberry cocoa and Yemeni chai mixed with powdered milk.
