WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The new owners of a West Seneca bowling alley are investing $1 million to create something new.

Sunset Lanes transferred ownership in September. Joshua Broad and Jonathan Herod paid $675,000 through 331 French Inc. to acquire the 70-year-old business and 13,822-square-foot bowling alley building from the Kawa family, according to a deed filed with the Erie County clerk.

Next year, the business will become Elwood’s Pints and Pins Co. Inc., with bar/restaurant and patio offering upscale pub food, all made in-house from scratch.
