AMHERST, N.Y. — Another lawsuit has been filed against Weinberg Campus, as additional debtors get in line for unpaid services at the troubled Getzville nursing home.
Noco Electric LLC filed a complaint Oct. 14 in Erie County Supreme Court for $313,178, citing a contract signed this year and electric services valued at $260,981 plus $52,196 for attorney/collection fees.
It’s the next in a series of lawsuits filed in the past two years against the senior living campus on North Forest Road, with complaints and judgments exceeding $5 million as the nonprofit struggles to remain open in the face of millions of dollars in debts.
