Founder and former owner of Mothers Restaurant to take over Downtown Bazaar space

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The space being vacated by the Downtown Bazaar will soon be home to a new bar by an established Buffalo restaurateur, according to developer Nick Sinatra.

Sinatra said Mark Supples is planning to open a new business in the Bazaar's space at the Market Arcade building, 617 Main St. Supples is the founder and former owner of Mothers Restaurant in Allentown. He also founded The Pink Flamingo (which later became The Old Pink) and House of Charm bars.

"He's a great operator, and we think he's going to do well here," Sinatra said.
