BUFFALO, N.Y. — The former William Simon Brewery, vacant for decades and owned by the same family for four generations, is on the market for the first time.
Owner H O S Enterprises Inc., an affiliate of William Simon IV, is seeking $3.3 million for the five-building complex that spans more than two acres at the corner of Clinton and Emslie streets.
The brewery, known for its Simon Pure Ale, closed in 1973. The property has been mostly vacant ever since.
"The building has a lot of potential," said broker Gary J. DeCarlo, of CRE Global LLC, who is representing the property along with Andrea Brozyna.
DeCarlo said the buildings have been well kept, though some areas will require renovations if they are to be occupied.
